Peter Marshall’s Third Wife, Laurie Marshall, Is a Visionary Artist Who Has Been Married To Him For 35 Years!
The Hollywood Squares host Peter Marshall and his wife, Laurie Stewart, have been married for over thirty years. The star host had married twice before his marriage to Laurie in 1989.
Peter and Laurie’s journey began with a classic meet-cute. They first met on a flight, where she was seated next to him, which led to their 35 years of togetherness.
The celebrity host married his third wife, Laurie Stewart, on August 19, 1989. He had four children and two stepchildren from his previous marriages.
The pair have enjoyed numerous public moments together, reflecting their longstanding marriage bond.
Unfortunately, in January 2021, the couple lost their son David LaCock to COVID-19 and also acquired the virus themselves. During the tough time, he said:
He made this a better world. He made our family’s lives sweeter.
My wife is still taking care of me. I keep getting better because I have so much love in my life.
Despite the tragedy, the pair’s love and commitment kept them together.
Laurie Marshall Is The Founder Of Unity Through Creativity Foundation, That Promotes Innovative Concepts Of Art
Laurie Marshall, also known as The Singing Tree Lady, is an intelligent woman with visionary ideas, an educator, and a creative artist.
The artist hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she attended Mt. Lebanon High School.
In 1967, she earned her degree in History and Education from Antioch College.
Later, the artisan pursued her master’s degree in Community Art and Education at Beacon College in Washington, D.C., graduating in 1980.
As of 2024, Laurie founded the Unity Through Creativity Foundation and the Singing Tree Project and is a facilitator at Crescent Moon Center.
The artist’s ventures actively encourage peace-building and healing through art and creativity.
The public has consistently shown their support and admiration for her impactful work for society.
Further, Peter fondly speaks of his wife’s work, supporting her in her artistic endeavors of making an impact in people’s lives through art and creativity.
Tragically, on August 15, 2024, her husband, Peter Marshall, took his last breath at the age of 98.
