Late Gospel Singer Aduke Gold Had an Inspiring Journey from Humble Beginnings to a Spiritual Legacy!
Aduke Ajayi, better known as Aduke Gold, was a rising star in the Nigerian gospel music scene. She rose to the limelight with her breakthrough album “Mightly Mercy.”
The coveted Gospel singer Aduke Gold was known for her soul-lifting songs, which often reflected her deep faith in God.
Some of her popular tracks include “Olorun De,” “Praises,” “Anu Ni Mofe,” “Mighty Mercy,” and “Nitori Ogo”12.
Aduke had been an orphan from age four, one of the few serious experiences that eventually shaped her into a resilient and strong human being.
Having said that, she also believed that having parents didn’t mean having a fulfilled life.
The late singer was vocal about her bittersweet life journey and shared her inspiring journey from humble beginnings.
The gospel singer shared her experiences of selling slippers and fried fish to make ends meet during the difficult times of her life.
A part of Sanctuary Keepers, Aduke Gold didn’t take her music career seriously until 2012.
Gospel singer Aduke Gold had always been inclined toward spirituality and praised the glory of the heavenly father until her last breath.
When asked why she chose Gospel instead of secular music despite getting the opportunity.
Aduke answered that she had been a church girl from the very beginning of her life. She was a member of the drama group and prayer warrior group.
She reportedly performed morning cry every 5 a.m. for four days a week. In fact, Aduke was also in the junior and senior choir and led the choreography group.
Aduke was one of the Sanctuary keepers and had done a lot in the church since her early years.
Having said that, not many know that she didn’t take her music career seriously until 2012.
In an interview, the singer expressed her take on her career, saying that it isn’t about the money but praising the glory of God through her music.

The singer was already into teaching by 16. She immensely believed education isn’t about good school but is learned through life experiences at which she excelled.
Later, Aduke Gold became a child psychologist and worked for the betterment of society.
Similarly, she earned a degree in history from Lagos State University.
Instead of pursuing a master’s degree, Aduke pursued a professional diploma in the Montessori method of education.
Unfortunately, Aduke breathed her last in August 2024, leaving a void in the gospel music community.
