The hip-hop landscape has been buzzing since one of the best rappers of all time, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign released their second album, Vultures 2.
This album showcases their artistic evolution and sets the stage for a trilogy to redefine their musical legacies.
Though the musicians formed ¥$ not long before, their longstanding collaboration explains the chemistry behind the projects.

¥$’s Bold New Sounds From Latest Album Redefines Their Ambitions For The Vultures Trilogy
Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign shared a long relationship before they released their debut album on February 10, 2024.
Ty Dolla first teased their followers about their upcoming collaboration in late 2023 through Instagram.
¥$ was already in hype before their first album was released. Though Vultures 1 faced backlash for their album artwork, the duo later recovered through it.
Vultures 1 was first scheduled to be released in December 2023, but it was delayed due to technical issues before its launch.
The album contains 16 tracks in total, and the runtime is approximately 55 minutes.
It features a star-studded lineup that includes North West (Kanye’s daughter), India Love, Freddie Gibbs, Travis Scott, Chris Brown, and others.
¥$ explored a wide range of themes, and tracks like Carnival and Vultures reflected details on past controversies.
Likewise, five months after its first release, the supergroup released their Vultures 2 on August 3, 2024.
The album’s track listing, which includes 16 songs totaling 50 minutes, was released as a surprise for followers.
Vultures 2 metaphorically spoke about the life sentence of Jabreal “Big TC” Muhammad, which they believe he never committed.
The 16 tracks discuss a wide range of topics, which is expected to impress music lovers.
Ye and Dolla yet again teamed up with some of the industry’s greatest artists, such as Lil Wayne, Don Toliver, and Kodiak Black, for their video.
While Vultures 2 got a mixed and mostly negative reception, it was commercially successful, and critics have expected a similar trajectory for the latest one.
