Jake Weddle and his dad, Nathan Weddle, have an estranged relationship!

Jake Weddle is a YouTuber who previously worked as MrBeast’s employee. The TV personality doesn’t have a sound relationship with his father.

MrBeast former employee Jake has never primarily shared about his dad or his family background in public.

However, in the podcast F You Dad, Jake blatantly spoke about his unhealthy relationship with his father.

The aforementioned podcast is hosted by two comedians, Kenyon Adamcik and Nik Cartwright, who tell stories about growing up with not-so-ordinary fathers.

In the first half of the podcast, the comedian explains his relationship with his father as “toxic” and describes the dynamic of their relationship, saying

He was such a negative force in my life.

Jake Weddle’s parents have separated ways following his dad Nathan’s alleged extra-marital relationship!

Jake Weddle‘s dad, Nathan Weddle, was a swimming coach for the Capital Area Swim Team and a neighborhood swim team, the Hedingham Sharks.

However, Nathan left Jake’s mom after his alleged relationship with his assistant swim coach.

Following the split, Jake’s mother won custody of the children, and Jake lived with his mother throughout his childhood.

The YouTuber has openly critiqued his father’s character as problematic, which perhaps led him to view his father as an unsuitable role model.

In December 2017, Wral News reported that Nathan Weddle was apprehended on charges of inappropriate misconduct with a student who was a minor.

As a result, Nathan was detained due to his inappropriate misconduct. The TV personality expressed his take on his father’s imprisonment in the “F You Dad” podcast, saying,

Him leaving was awesome because that level of toxic bulsht just removed.

Amidst these circumstances, Jake’s respect for his father diminished, which further strained their relationship.
