Gojira’s Performance At The Paris Olympics Opening Featured Alleged Satanic Rituals
The opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympics has become a lightning rod for debates, particularly after a provocative alleged satanic ritual performance by Gojira.
Gojira is a French heavy metal band that has been active since 1996 and recently performed at the Olympic opening ceremony.
The progressive metal band performed Ah! Ça Ira, a popular French Revolution song, with the depiction of Queen Marie.
Immediately after the musicians entered the stage, their screeching tracks and brutal aesthetics surprised the audience.
Gojira’s performance became further dramatic after people pointed out it as some sort of satanic setup to promote satanism.
While the audience is divided, opinions are based on provocative imagery and unpleasing aesthetics.
Gojira’s Depiction Of Marie Antoinette’s Decapitation In Dramatic Visuals Is Labelled Satanic
The French Olympic ceremony 2024 gave the audience horror visuals with heavy metal music in the background.
Gojira’s music seemed uncomfortable most of the time. But the segment of Marie Antoinette holding her severed head tagged it ‘satanic.’
The sharp showcasing of culture with provocative pictures drew sharp criticism from around the world and even scared people.
Even critics worldwide have talked on the subject and argued that such acts hurt Christian sentiments.
Social media influencer and business owner Andrew Tate came forward and talked about how the ceremony seemed unholy.
Tate, through his X account, The Real World, wrote:
Open Satanism is purposefully being promoted to destroy the world. They show you that they worship the devil.
His comments resonated with the people who had the same feeling about the debatable action in the Olympics.
Gojira faced huge backlash even from their followers, as many of them described it as a formal satan rite.
Opening on the case, one user suggested the ceremony was a conspiracy and said:
I keep telling everybody it’s not even hidden, AND THEY STILL WON’T OPEN THEIR EYES.
However, many die-hard metal lovers believe that Gojira revived the music genre in the current generation and defended the alleged conspiracy.
Fans took to the internet and argued that ‘metal is so back,’ celebrating the band’s new way of expressing music.
Though the current uproar seems superficial, the consequence could hamper everything if a cultural clash occurs.
While the fans still have no answers about Gojira’s satanic connections, criticisms over The Last Supper added more fuel to the fire.
Though accusations against Gojira for their performance may seem extreme to some, some believe it was just an interplay of art.
