O-Town vocalist Erik-Michael Estrada made his name as a professional entertainer without any support from the Hollywood godfather.
Though he is mostly linked to actor CHiPs actor Erik Estrada’s kid, the similarly named individuals share no relation.
An article from Distractify explained that Erik was estranged from his biological father very young.
Further researching, we found a YouTube Video titled O-Town Making The Band in which Erik tries talking to him.
His biological father’s name is Rubean, and he stopped contacting him after his mother decided to split.
The video’s scene is upsetting, as Erik Michael uses his first name to identify himself after many years.
The incident shocked Rubean as well, as he was talking to his son after waiting years and years.
Though the vocalist pitched the idea of a meeting, he still accused him of showing interest after seeing him on TV.
As the video lapsed, we understood how Rubean’s low efforts left his son with unanswered questions about life.
His ex-father didn’t want himself in the documentary and exposed his current family to the internet.
Fabian, in the video, said:
Eric I put on honestly, I’m really excited that you called me. But I really don’t know if I really want to put my life on on film. It’s done cultural for me.
The musician didn’t say anything about the post-video incident, and the story of the estranged relationship ended for us.

Besides some Instagram posts on Estrada’s profile, we have no information about mother Micki and her husband.
