Clay Aiken, the American Idol runner-up, has never married; however, he and his best friend, Jaymes Foster, share a son.
Clayton Holmes Aiken, an American singer, television personality, actor, politician, and activist, was born in North Carolina on November 30, 1978.
He gained popularity after his powerful vocals made him runner-up on the second season of American Idol in 2003.

Alongside his professional endeavors, Clay Aiken has consistently remained in the spotlight, with his personal life frequently sparking curiosity.
Clay Identifies as Gay and Conceived His Son with Jaymes Foster Through In Vitro Fertilization
In August 2008, Aiken surprised his fans by announcing the birth of his son, Parker Foster Aiken, together with his dear friend, Jaymes Foster.
Jaymes Foster is a Canadian actress and film producer, the sister of famous music producer David Foster.
As a result, media speculation arose about whether Jaymes Foster was his wife or if they were married.
However, there have been no official confirmations about romantic relationships between them until now.
They later confirmed that they had conceived Parker through in vitro fertilization, which involves fertilizing mature eggs with sperm in a lab.
After welcoming his son, Clay again made headlines by publicly coming out as gay in a 2008 People magazine cover story.
He expressed that this was his first decision as a father and said,
“It was the first decision I made as a father,” he explained. “I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things. I wasn’t raised that way, and I’m not going to raise a child to do that.”
Despite his life being public, Clay Aiken prefers to keep his son’s life very private and out of the media.
In contrast, Parker made his television debut on a popular American game show, Celebrity Family Feud.
In a clip released before the episode’s premiere on ABC’s YouTube, he appeared all grown up and strikingly similar to his father.
