Lucie’s brother, Desiderio Alberto Arnaz IV, aka Desi, was born on January 19, 1953, in Los Angeles, California.
His mother starred in the sitcom I Love Lucy and gave birth to the character Little Lucy while Desi was born, reflecting Americans’ interest in the TV baby.
Lucille Ball’s son Desi continued his parent’s legacy in acting by performing in theatres and several TV shows and movies, including The Brady Bunch, Automan, and The Love Boat.
Additionally, his multifaceted career extended to music, where he played drums for the rock band Dino, Desi, & Billy.
He last appeared in public during the 2011 red carpet event at a tribute to I Love Lucy, hosted by The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills.
Ever since, Desi has stayed very private and out of the public’s eye, which is why his sister described him as being ‘undercover.’
